                                                                     Arm Lengths.

The standard length of Omega arms is 10”. We decided many years ago that adding an extra inch to the standard 9” arm reduced the tracking error to a level not dissimilar that found in a 12” long arm, without adding the additional inertia or mounting problems that can be encountered with the longer version.

However, the purists amongst you have asked us to make a 12” arm, and will use a turntable capable of accommodating one. So the Helius repertoire now includes a 12” version of the Omega in both the standard guise as well as the Silver-Ruby.

On occasions, we have been asked to make 9” versions of the Omega to suit turntables with limited space, this can be done by special request at a modest additional cost and about 10 days additional build time.
